Alex Hart (accompanied by Adam Sweet) + support at The Old Warehouse

Described by BBC Radio 2 presenter Mark Radcliffe as “the Stevie Nicks of Folk”, South-West based singer/songwriter Alex Hart is not only a talented vocalist, but an accomplished and versatile musician too.

Following the success of her debut album in 2020, Alex’s voice and musicianship caught the eye of legendary Jethro Tull guitarist Martin Barre, who asked her to be a part of his band as a musician and vocalist for their European and international tour dates.

In more recent times Alex has collaborated and regularly performed alongside the critically acclaimed Devon folk ‘royalty’, Seth Lakeman (including an accompanying role at the 2023 ‘Salcombe Live Festival’ in October). Alex’s voice as well her multi-instrumental playing feature heavily on Lakeman’s new album with the single “Higher We Aspire” receiving huge BBC Radio 2 support and a live performance of the song on BBC Breakfast TV.

As well as a busy touring schedule, Alex is constantly working on new music and released her latest album ‘VISIONS’ in September 2023, alongside a successful UK tour.

Alex says, “Visions is definitely my best work so far. I am so proud of the album, it is completely self-funded and it was so special to have complete control over every aspect. I can’t wait for everyone to hear it.”

Alex will be accompanied for this show by Adam Sweet, a guitar-slidin' force of nature who can fill a hall with his effortless verve - a young bluesman with an ancient soul and a large presence in the here-and-now!

Support will be provided by the incredible international touring act, Tennyson King who is rapidly gathering fans all over the world. Born in Hong Kong, raised in Canada, this nomadic musician brings a jovial personality to the stage. Don't be late!!

"Alex Hart is set to make a global impact" (The Guardian)

"Alex Hart is not only a talented vocalist, but an accomplished musician too. Alex has grown as a musician over the years and is continually adding new instruments to her armoury." (Review Mnpr Magazine)
