Saturday 17th February [10.30am - 12.30pm]

'Scrub Bashing & Making Homes for Nature'

We will be thinning overgrowing trees and scrib to make way for greater spieces diversity as the spring takes hold, in some coservation work on the NNR. We'll be using saws and secateurs so do wer old, warm clothes, stout footwear and gardening gloves. Children under 8 will need 1:1 supervision with the tools. We'll also be making some homes for wildlife too as well as making a fire and brewing up a cuppa in our kelly kettles. Meet in Memorial / Middle Car Park at Slapton.

Devon Wildlife Watch is the junior section of the Devon Wildlife Trusts. Subscription is £1.50 per child member for each meeting to help with resourcing events. Non-members are £2.
