Cookworthy Museum OpeningDistance from the centre of Kingsbridge: 0.2 miles
The museum will open for the 2018 Season on Monday 26th March. With three special exhibitions this year: 'William Cookworthy: Pioneer of Porcelain" detailing his life and work, with the assistance of Plymouth City Museum. 'Margaret Lorenz: A Head of her Time', the more recent life of the first female head of Kingsbridge School, founder member and long-time chairman of the Museum. Plus another chance to see 'Keep the Home Fires Burning' showing the effects of the First World War on the South Hams in the centenery year of the end of the War.
The museum will be open Monday-Saturday from 10:30am -5pm until the end of October. Entry is only £3 for Adults, £2.50 for concessions and FREE for under 16's. If you live locally why not consider becoming a friend for only £5 a year and then you can come and visit whenever you like!!
