While the restaurant is temporarily closed we are serving burgers, pies & fries, chicken wings, pork ribs and milkshakes, on Fridays and Saturdays between 5pm - 8.30pm to takeaway. Order on the website and collect at your selected time.
From our own fields at Harwood Farm, to our own butchery at The Salcombe Meat Company, right onto your plate at Woody's Restaurant, we truly shepherd our animals from field to fork, where sustainable practices and high standards of animal welfare make for great tasting local meat with a trusted provenance.
Since 2014, Woody's owners Alex and Lauren Brazier have been hand-rearing slow grown, grass-fed Devon Closewool and Herdwick sheep at their own farm at Harwood, on the outskirts of Salcombe – and have recently taken on a herd of Dexter cattle – which, along with our friends at Thornpark, Slapton and Greatastones, Chagford, means all Woody’s meat is locally sourced.
All the meat that goes into our delicious burgers and steaks is prepared at our very own butchery, The Salcombe Meat Company, where Alex and his team's award-winning expertise in getting the most out of each animal, from nose to tail, means all our customers get the best quality produce.
