A list of attractions in the South Hams that are now open, along with information on restrictions in place (last updated 30/06/2020)...
The garden, car park and toilets at Overbecks will re-open on 29th June. You'll need to book your tickets by 3pm on the day before your visit. Members can book for free, while non-members will need to pay when booking. We'll be releasing tickets every Friday. Please note we'll be turning people away who arrive and haven't booked. The house, shop and tea-room remain closed until further notice. Book now through the website.
To help keep you safe we have limited the number of tickets on sale each day and split them into morning and afternoon time slots to spread visitors throughout the day. ALL visitors, including season ticket holders, will need to book their tickets online in advance through the website.
You can reserve spaces up to 14 days in advance for your visit. This books an hourly arrival time slot, you can arrive anytime within that hour and stay as long as you like (we close by 6pm). No advance payment will be taken, you purchase your tickets on arrival (card payments only). If you want to come at the quietest time of day, we recommend after 3pm. Note latest entry is 5.00pm, we close by 6pm. If booking the last hour slot, we recommend arriving no later than 4.30pm to give yourselves plenty of time. Book now through the website.
Paignton Zoo will reopen on Monday 6th July with the first two days (6th and 7th July) reserved for annual pass holders only, then from the 8th July we will once again be open to the general public. Entry will be permitted in half-hour slots through the day and will need to be booked in advance through the website. The zoo will be open from 10am to 6pm daily, please see the website for which of the exhibits will be open and which will remain closed.
