Ashby’s of Kingsbridge is a family-run business that began in 1987 with the opening of a store on the stunning Kingsbridge to Dartmouth coastal road.

Since opening Ashby’s of Kingsbridge has gained a reputation as an unusual Alladins cave of stock that aims to satisfy the needs of both locals and visitors.

SALCOMBE

A sister store, Ashby’s of Salcombe, recently opened a few miles away on the main road between Malborough and Salcombe. Following in these footsteps, Ashby’s of Salcombe aims to provide a vast range of stock under one roof! This includes a convenient farmshop filled with fresh local produce complete with Ashbys own onsite butchery with local sourced high quality meats. There is also a wide-range of outdoor leisure, unique gifts and gardening stock.

A highlight is The Blue Whale Café with its stunning views overlooking the South Hams up to Dartmoor where you can enjoy breakfasts, light lunches a range of snacks and hot beverages. You can even have a glass of wine to help soak in the beautiful countryside!
