Merrifield House Devon

Merrifield House is calm and tranquil, surrounded by lush green fields and stunning views of Dartmoor National Park. Located just off the A379, between Churchstow and Aveton Gifford, and near Bantham, Kingsbridge, and Salcombe.

Ideally situated to enjoy walking the South West Coastal Path, cycling, surfing, sailing, and exploring local beaches, nearby towns and the mysterious moors. From coast to country, the stunning area of South Hams, South Devon is the perfect base for a weekend break or an extended holiday – add yoga and a treatment, for the ultimate relaxing getaway. 

Our accommodation which includes 3-ensuite bedrooms, are suitable for a total of seven adults (18 years +), and are available on a 'room only’ basis (breakfast is not included). We have a friendly arrangement with The Church House Inn (our closest restaurant) who are very happy to provide a delicious selection of breakfast options and Feast Kitchen a local catering company who will freshly prepare and deliver breakfast directly to you; in addition we have a comfortable outside snug area where you are welcome to make yourself tea and coffee with the refreshments provided, and use the fridge, freezer, toaster and microwave to store and cook your own food.

Also available – Off-road parking, CCTV,  Wi-Fi, blankets, extra pillows, hot water bottles, library of books, games and puzzles, dedicated on-site yoga studio and treatment room. Friendly dogs are very welcome.

Packages are also offered for relaxation & wellbeing days, corporate team building and retreats.
