About the Artist: Niall Holbourn - Devon Paintings
Based in Kingsbridge, Niall’s acrylic paintings capture the wild, weathered beauty of the South West. Working on canvas and wood panels—often incorporating upcycled materials and layered textures—his work draws inspiration from the rugged moorlands of Dartmoor, windswept coastlines, and the quiet drama of ancient forests.
By day, Niall, a father of two, is a Head of Science at a local school. In any free time, he paints as a form of creative escape, reconnecting with the environment around him.
