Shrove Tuesday is just around the corner, and while the classic lemon and sugar will always have its place, savoury pancakes are a firm favourite with plenty of customers.
It’s a great opportunity to showcase bold flavours using South Devon Chilli Farm's chilli sauces, jams, chutneys and jellies.
Roasted vegetables- add a Caribbean twist with some Manzanilla Chilli Jam
Ham & cheese — excellent with a spoonful of Chilli Jam
Spinach & ricotta — with a few drops of Cherry Bomb Sauce
Creamy mushroom & leek — give it a kick with Hot Chilli Jam
Eggs — perfect with a sprinkle of Aleppo Chilli Flakes
Sausage and onion — spread some Apple Chilli Jelly
Avocado — our Peruvian sauce pairs perfectly
And for the sweet pancake lovers:
Chilli chocolate pancakes — add pieces of our chilli chocolate to the pancake as it cooks to melt it inside
Stir our chilli drinking chocolate into the batter or dust on top
Add Manzanilla as a sweet topping
