Coaches & Groups
Kingsbridge is very pleased to welcome visiting groups and can offer free coach parking and a choice of two convenient drop-off points.
If you fancy a walk down Fore Street, browsing the shops and stopping for a bite to eat then use the drop-off point located outside the Cookworthy Museum (TQ7 1AW). If you would rather stay on the flat, peruse the market stalls and take a stroll along the water's edge, then drop-off at the bottom of the town adjacent to the Kinsgbridge Information Centre (TQ7 1HS). Free parking is then available in the Cattle Market car park (TQ7 1HH).
Kingsbridge's street market days are Tuesdays and Thursdays but you can always find independent shops and small pop-up displays and fundraisers throughout the town. Art exhibitions are held at Harbour House and a Farmers Market can be found on the town square on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of the month.
Special rates and guided tours are available to groups visiting the Cookworthy Museum if you book ahead by calling 01548 853 235. Just a little way out of town the South Devon Chilli Farm can offer tours to include wither a delicious cream tea or lunch from £8pp and has ample parking for coaches.
Please get in touch for more suggestions or advice on navigating your way around the South Hams in a coach.
