VE DAY 80th ANNIVERSARY AFTERNOON TEA

VE Day, marking the end of World War II in Europe, took place on 8th May 1945. To honour this historic occasion, join us at The Cottage Hotel on Thursday, 8th May 2025, for a nostalgic Afternoon Tea with background music from the era and bunting galore.
Local history buffs will appreciate a display of where forces were billeted locally, showing pill boxes, bigots’ gun, search lights and more.  (With thanks to Hope Cove History and Heritage Group).

Come dressed for the occasion, theme your outfit from the era – you may even win a prize for the best dressed!
This Event will include, a Full Afternoon Tea and is priced at £18.50 per person
