Harbour House Kitchen

The vegetarian cafe at Harbour House opened its doors once again in November 2024. Under new management the bright and airy refurbished cafe and sheltered garden are now open 10am - 4pm Monday to Saturday.

If you haven’t been to the cafe before you will find us on the first floor above the gallery at Harbour House, opposite the Kingsbridge Information Centre. If you were a regular but haven’t been for a while you know where we are and we look forward to welcoming you back. 

We are a vegetarian cafe serving organic coffees, locally grown herbal teas, breakfasts and a daily changing lunch menu. We prepare dairy and plant based hot drinks and the menu offers a choice of vegetarian and vegan options. We bake our own gluten free bread and offer a range of gluten free dishes. We prepare everything ourselves in our kitchen with produce from local and ethical suppliers.

Red Hill Market Garden and Riverford provide organically grown salads and vegetables, Hylsten Bakery deliver organic sourdough breads, Owen’s roast our delicious organic Baya coffee beans and Heron Valley provide bottled juices and their fabulous apple cider vinegar. The Essential Trading Cooperative and Hunts Foods supply our store cupboard items. 

We welcome families and offer all of our menu’s half size/half price for children. We have a selection of toys and books as well as high chairs. We are dog friendly too.

If you are looking for a coffee and a cake or a sit down relaxed breakfast or lunch with freshly prepared food pop in and see what’s on offer today. We serve a selection of soups, tarts, salads, stews and sandwiches. All available to eat in or take away.
