Conveniently located between Kingsbridge and Dartmouth, our popular pub is at the heart of the seaside village of Beesands. Set along the South West Coastal path, with a Blue Flag awarded mile-long shingle beach and fishing boats still bringing in the catch of the day; we offer the perfect location for both food and getaways.

We have a reputation for serving modern and delicious seafood dishes and we’re strong supporters of buying all of our produce locally; with most of the seafood caught daily by the fishermen literally on our doorstep. From this, our Head Chef creates his daily seafood specials - often multiple options a day, ensuring the menu is always evolving and offering our regulars more choice.

Our signature dish the seafood pancake has been on our menu since the very beginning, and visitors return year after year to taste the culinary delights rustled up in the kitchen by our incredibly talented team.

 Four-legged friends are made equally as welcome in the bar area as two-legged ones, with water bowls and biscuit treats available.

We have 7 beautiful bedrooms which have been designed in a boutique New England style and have been awarded 4 Gold stars by the AA, five of which have unrivalled views of the crystal-clear waters of Start Bay and Start Point Lighthouse in the distance. The rooms have all been recently refurbished and have been fitted with brand new state of the art amenities such as smart TVs and a Nespresso machine in every room; you’re sure to sleep soundly on our luxurious King-sized beds, with only the sound of the rolling waves which are just metres away from you.
