The South Hams Vintage Machinery Club will be holding its annual two-day working rallly this year on the weekend of the 14th & 15th August. The show is easily accessible at Sorley Cross, just outside Kingsbridge on the B3194.
The weekend showcases vintage combines, binders cutting corn along with horse drawn ploughs. Many tractor, car, commercial vehicle and motiorbike owners display their collections, and are happy to talk about the history of their vehicle.
Family fun for all with a craft tent, entertainment for children, trade stand and a fully licensed beer tent. The day is intersperses with main ring working demonstrations which this year will be hay maing followed by a display of working agricultural implements.
Why not bring along your dog and enter the daily dog show. The event is held for charity and this year will be supporting the Community First Responders.
