Overview

Sheltered sandy beaches in Salcombe harbour with access across the estuary by passenger ferry to Salcombe town. East Portlemouth and Mill Bay are ideal beaches from which to watch the sailing life of Salcombe glide past. The National Trust run a car park at Mill Bay.

Set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, it is one of the quieter beaches in the area. Great for splashing in shallow waters plus plenty of exploring to do at low tide when there is a wealth of rock pools.
