Chillington House

Adam & Jeannie Trevena welcome you to Chillington House.

Situated on the coastal road between Kingsbridge and Dartmouth, in the picturesque village of Chillington. The perfect location for exploring the South Hams.

Our nine comfortable rooms are all ensuite and spacious, decorated in a fresh modern style. The rooms have king size or superking beds, to avoid any squabbles for the duvet! The beds are made with crisp white egyptian cotton and the en suites have soft fluffy bath sheets.  All the bedrooms are equipped with a 32 inch television, tea and coffee making, on-site parking space and complimentary wifi. We have a disabled access room with four other bedrooms on the ground floor. Cots and high chairs are available. There are many lovely long and short walks right from our front door which is perfect for those making use of our three dog friendly rooms.

Our delicious breakfasts include a large buffet including yogurt & home made compote, fresh seasonal fruit, muesli, cereal, freshly baked bread with Jeannie's home-made jams. Cooked breakfasts are freshly prepared to order by chef Adam with locally sourced ingredients served in the conservatory.

There are three excellent pubs in walking distance including the Bear & Blacksmith in the village. The village also has an excellent shop for the morning paper or an afternoon snack. The house is 25 minutes from Salcombe and Dartmouth, 10 minutes from Kingsbridge and half an hour from Totnes.

The wheelchair accessible room has an en-suite wet-room shower and heated towel rail with soft white towels. This room can have added shower handles, shower seat and toilet frame for guests who may need extra support in the bathroom, it is on the ground floor and no pets are allowed.
