Overview

Steeped in history, the Church House Inn, Churchstow, is a 13th Century pub, built as a rest house for Benedictine Monks from Buckfast Abbey it has been a hostelry of one kind or another all of its life.

Bursting with un-spoilt original charm & character, so rare to find now, inglenook fireplace, log burners & beams a plenty, with legends of smuggling monks & tunnels down in the well in the main entrance leading to the Church & beyond.

Our team are passionate about using the most season & local of produce (and we mean it!) from the rich abundance of land & sea that surrounds us, including fresh Salcombe Lobster & Crab straight from the boats at Salcombe.
And with our handmade in house fresh pizzas we have something for everyone.
Why not come and join us on our sun filled patio, in the bar or restaurant, several seating options to suit all groups and individuals.

Please check our website for opening times & easy to book on line dining reservations.
